Discover Thrive Market – Organic & Natural Essentials for CHEAP

Disclaimer: Some links on this page are affiliate links and I may make a small commission if you purchase something. However I will NEVER promote anything I’m not passionate about, so believe me that everything I say is the real deal.

If you haven’t heard of Thrive Market, you’re in for a real treat. It has quickly become one of my favorite websites and I order from it constantly.

This is what it’s all about:

Healthy food & natural products at wholesale prices, aka cheaper than in stores! Also they do not sell any GMO foods, foods that contain genetically modified organisms/chemicals that are harmful to us.

Why I love it:

The problem with trying to eat healthier and use more natural products is that they are usually expensive and hard to find in stores. This site cuts out the retail uptick pricing on these types of items, so it significantly decreases the cost, plus you can read reviews of everything before purchasing so you’ll know you’re getting something great. They ship fast and cheaply (or for free if you spend over $49! which is very easy to do…heh).

It’s also awesome because each membership purchased sponsors a membership for a low-income American family. I think this is HUGE because many low-income families resort to unhealthy options because they are the cheapest. These memberships enable families to buy healthier food without breaking the bank.

The first time I tried this site, I spent HOURS looking through all of the goodies. It’s addicting. If you’re not sure where to start, check out my list of favorite items below, or go to their Best Sellers page.

These are some of my favorite items:
Food Stuff:

Himalayan Pink Salt Grinder – step up your salt game with this stuff, it’s especially great on toast w/ almond butter

Kidney & Pinto Beans – beans are a fabulous source of protein and fiber, and these ones are organic!

Ghee – if you haven’t tried ghee yet, you should. Ghee is similar to clarified butter and is good for cooking because of it’s high smoke point. It also has more flavor than butter and is lactose-free. Personally I melt it over hot-air popped popcorn for an a-mazing late night snack

Organic Turmeric Powder – turmeric has tons of uses both in cooking and on your skin, one small packet of this organic turmeric can last you awhile

Organic Coconut Aminos – use this as a less salty alternative to soy sauce

Toasted Sea Salt Hemp Seeds – add some nice crunch to salads or yogurt with these tasty salty things

Beauty & Body Products:

Kiss My Face Shave Cream – I lovee this shave cream. It goes on thinner than normal shave cream so you don’t clog up your razor as much and you get a closer shave.

Nature’s Gate Tea Tree Calming Shampoo – this shampoo is slightly minty due to the tea tree oil which leaves your head feeling refreshed and clean with absolutely no build-up. I use it every other day along with the coconut oil conditioner below:

Desert Essence Coconut Oil Conditioner – coconut oil based conditioners are definitely my favorite. They leave my hair really soft and this particular conditioner smells great too.

Giovanni’s Hot Chocolate Sugar Scrub – o.m.g., the smell of this is UNREAL. It smells like brownies straight out of the oven. If you’re having a bad day, hop in the shower and scrub this all over, trust me you will feel better.

Acure Brightening Face Scrub – this is one of the better face scrubs I’ve ever used. I’m especially careful with using chemicals on my face since my facial skin is super sensitive, so this scrub meets those standards. My skin feels reallyy soft & smooth afterwards and it seems to help with my acne too.

Everyday Coconut Fair Trade Face Toner – this is legitimately one of my favorite products ever. I’ve always dealt with what I call ‘red-face syndrome’. My cheeks and neck tend to be red all the time and I’ve never really found a product that helped with it until this toner. I use it everyday, usually twice a day and it’s greatly improved my skin tone.

Everyday Coconut Fair Trade Face Wash – this goes hand in hand with the toner above. I only use this face wash every other day but it works well and doesn’t aggravate my sensitive skin.

Alba Botanica Cleansing Towelettes – I use these to clean my face every night and they are great. Most cleansing/make-up removing wipes I’ve tried in the past burn a little and smell chemically. These smell fresh and make my face feel nice and clean.

Tampico Dry Body Brush – if you haven’t tried dry body brushing, check out my blog post on it here. This is the exact brush I use and so worth the thrive market price.

Why it’s worth the subscription:

Well, first of all as I said above, each purchased membership gives a free membership to a low-income family so that’s a win right there.

It’s only $60/year, aka $5/month!

The savings are big. In your first few orders, you’ll make back the annual fee in the amount of money you save.

You can set certain products to auto ship to make sure you never run out of them.

And finally, after your 30 day free trial, you have to buy a membership in order to keep shopping with Thrive Market. If you opt not to sign up at the end of the trial, you unfortunately won’t be able to order any products through their website anymore.

Sooo, what are you waiting for? Try it out now!
